Apprenticeship opportunities: volunteer positions 

​Heimsoth Farm is located an hour east of Kansas City. We specialize in garlic and onions, but grow a variety of crops for market and a roadside stand. In 2022, we did a TV show called Farm Dreams, where we transformed a 7-acre corn field into a food forest full of native fruit and nut trees. We are building a forage farming concept full of medicinal and edible plants. We practice low till/no till farming techniques using hand tools. We have a high tunnel for season extension and tomato production. In 2024, we are trying our hand at cut flower production in addition to veggies. We are seeking volunteers to join us on this journey of growing and learning.
